Sunyi, physiotherapist

My training

After graduating with a Master's degree in physiotherapy from the HEPH Condorcet in Tournai (Belgium), I had the chance to train in various clinical environments in Belgium and Switzerland, notably at the Geneva University Hospital. My training has enabled me to develop a rigorous, global approach to care, combining individualized care with scientific knowledge. I completed my training with an exchange year under the Erasmus program at Geneva's Haute École de Santé, reinforcing my awareness of interdisciplinary care.

My specialty

I'm particularly passionate about musculoskeletal care and the care of athletes. My final year dissertation, focusing on the effects of eccentric exercise on young athletes, illustrates my interest in improving performance and functional recovery. My practice is also supported by ongoing training courses, notably on obesity, return to sport criteria and foot biomechanics in dancers.

What characterizes my care

Optimistic, attentive and committed, I place great emphasis on listening and the therapeutic alliance. I strive to establish a relationship of trust with each patient, adapting my interventions to their experiences, goals and pace. For me, physiotherapy is about more than just exercise: it's about teaching, empowerment and the pleasure of progressing together. My personal experience in weight training, calisthenics and running enables me to integrate concrete, functional tools for active, long-lasting and motivating rehabilitation.
