Who we are
CARE Charmilles and CARE Belle-Terre are outpatient rehabilitation centers that are part of the Maisonneuveecosystem .
Located on the right bank for CARE Charmilles and on the left bank for CARE Belle-Terre, we offer care inphysiotherapy, occupational therapy , and balneotherapy.
At CARE Charmilles, we also offer interdisciplinary outpatient programs, either individually or in groups.
CARE Belle-Terre is scheduled to open in April 2026.
The history of Maisonneuve
The history of Maisonneuve began in 2013 with the opening of Clinique Maisonneuve, Geneva's first private clinic dedicated to rehabilitation. Located inChâtelaine, it is a stone's throw from the city center and all amenities. It is now known as Clinique Châtelaine.
The Châtelaine Clinic
The Clinique Châtelaine, the first establishment in the Maisonneuve ecosystem, has 45 beds, including 12 suites, offering comfort and high technology in a refined setting. For the rehabilitation of its patients, the clinic boasts a rehabilitation area equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and balneotherapy. The "La Suite" restaurant welcomes patients and their families in a generous and elegant atmosphere. The chef and his brigade concoct authentic seasonal recipes.
Clinique Chatelaine's multidisciplinary team includes doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and dieticians.
The medical staff and therapists listen attentively and help patients regain their autonomy, well-being and maximum freedom of movement with high-quality, tailor-made programs in a privileged environment.
The Châtelaine Clinic treats patients (with basic, semi-private, or private insurance) in the areas of musculoskeletal medicine, internal medicine, oncology, and geriatrics.
The goal: a personalized medical program to enableoptimal rehabilitation in the best possible conditions.
True to our history and mission, we strive for excellence in service and quality. We meet the standards of the ANQ (National Association for Quality Development in Hospitals and Clinics) and H+ Swiss Hospitals. We are members of the Association of Private Clinics of Geneva and PLATEFORME-REHA. Since 2025, we have also been REKOLE-certified.
CARE Charmilles
To complete its ecosystem, in 2021 Maisonneuve developed an outpatient rehabilitation center,CARE Charmilles.
This center offers personalized physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and balneotherapy treatments to patients requiring specialized care without hospitalization.
Since 2025, CARE Charmilles has been treating patients through individual or group-based interdisciplinary outpatient programs. The first program,“Regaining Confidence Step by Step,” facilitates coordinated care among physicians, physical therapists, and occupational therapists.
The Left Bank, New Chapter 2026: Belle-Terre Clinic and CARE Belle-Terre
This year, we have the immense privilege of opening a new establishment on the left bank in Belle-Terre, which will host:
- The Belle-Terre Clinic, operating under the same mandates as the Châtelaine Clinic and with 56 beds;
- CARE Belle-Terre, dedicated to outpatient care for patients on the left bank;
- Maisonneuve at home – left bank, intended for home monitoring of patients from the Belle-Terre Clinic;
- The Horizon Restaurant.
Our mission
CARE Charmilles and CARE Belle-Terre are dedicated to providing comprehensive, personalized rehabilitation through physical therapy, occupational therapy, and hydrotherapy.
In addition, CARE Charmilles offers interdisciplinary outpatient rehabilitation programs lasting 8 to 12 weeks, eitherindividually, where the patient is accompanied by amedical and therapeutic team, or ingroups.
