My background and specializations
I work as a physical therapist at Maisonneuve CARE Charmilles in Geneva, where I provide comprehensive, personalized care tailored to each patient’s needs and goals.
After graduating from the Échirolles School of Physical Therapy, near Grenoble, in 1987, I have developed—over the course of my career—an approach to physical therapy based on listening, observation, and an understanding of the body as a whole.
From the very beginning of my career, I wanted to deepen my expertise in global postural rehabilitation, and in 1988 I studied the Mézières method and the teachings of Philippe Souchard. This approach allowed me to develop a holistic view of the body by focusing on the relationships between posture, muscle tension, and mobility.
I then rounded out my training with two years of study in osteopathy and fasciatherapy at the CETHOM school in Lyon, in order to deepen my understanding of musculoskeletal structures and manual therapy techniques.
My professional experience has been gained primarily in a hospital setting, where I worked for more than 24 years at the Annecy Genevois Hospital Center. There, I cared for patients with a variety of conditions, particularly in orthopedics, trauma, respiratory rehabilitation, and care for infants and women in the maternity ward.
I have also worked in private practice and in post-acute care and rehabilitation, providing care tailored to each patient’s needs. These experiences have allowed me to develop my skills in home care, lymphatic drainage, functional rehabilitation, and supporting patients as they regain their independence.
In an effort to continue enhancing my practice, I took a course on fall prevention and attended a conference on femoroacetabular impingement organized as part of the HUG’s short courses in 2018.
In 2026, I also rounded out my training with a course in golf physical therapy at INK Formation to deepen my understanding of the physical demands and specific movements involved in this sport.
Today, as a physical therapist in Les Charmilles, I draw on my clinical experience and complementary skills to provide personalized care aimed at improving my patients’ mobility, functional abilities, and quality of life.

What characterizes my care
I place particular importance on listening, observing, and gaining a comprehensive understanding of each patient. Every person has a unique history, movement patterns, and specific needs. I therefore make sure to provide care tailored to their situation and goals.
In my physical therapy practice in Geneva, I take a holistic approach to the body, taking into account the relationships between the various muscular and joint structures. I draw in particular on the principles of the Mézières method and global postural rehabilitation to treat patients with back pain, muscle tension, postural imbalances, or limited mobility.
I also pay special attention to fall prevention and maintaining independence, particularly among older adults or those with mobility challenges. My goal is to help build confidence in mobility, improve balance, and maintain functional abilities in daily life.
Drawing on my experience in hospitals and rehabilitation settings, I also support patients in their functional recovery following an injury, surgery, or a period of immobilization, tailoring the exercises and rehabilitation goals to their abilities.
My interest in golf physical therapy also allows me to incorporate a specific focus on posture, mobility, and the physical demands associated with this sport into a treatment plan tailored to the patient’s needs.
Finally, I prioritize a therapeutic relationship based on compassion, education, and the patient’s active participation. My goal is to help each person better understand their body, regain mobility, and maintain their independence and quality of life over the long term.
