My training

I began my university training in podiatry at the University of Valencia and then in physiotherapy at the CEU Cardenal Herrere University. I then qualified as a university expert in sports physiotherapy at Madrid's Complutense University. This training forms the basis of my expertise.

My professional career has been enriched by my Erasmus stays and my training in global physiotherapy, as well as by my specializations in pre- and post-partum care, foot care for runners, and therapeutic Pilates.

My specialties and specializations

My speciality is ankle-foot rehabilitation

My vocation was born following various surgical interventions, when I had to live surrounded by physiotherapists to ensure my rehabilitation. My specialization in foot and ankle rehabilitation is linked to my initial training in podiatry. I've always loved biomechanics, body behavior and gait analysis. The physio-podology relationship enables me to understand foot pathologies with a more general vision, knowing that an alteration in the foot can be linked to alterations in other parts of the body. I am therefore aware of the need for multidisciplinary work. If necessary, I refer my patients to other specialists who can complete their treatment.

My specialty: prepartum care

In the course of my professional experience, I have also specialized in pre-partum care, more specifically obstetrics (woman-pregnant). I'm passionate about helping women at such a special time in their lives. As a physiotherapist and a woman, I like to communicate the importance of taking care of yourself during this intense period.

What characterizes my care

I pay attention to the scientific method and scientific advances. Whenever possible, my treatments are based on scientific evidence. I regularly attend training courses to update my knowledge and keep abreast of new techniques.

I've had the good fortune to work in many different areas of physiotherapy, which has enabled me to recognize patients' needs in relation to their pathology. The patient also has an individual life history and psycho-social context, so empathy and psychology are at the heart of my treatments.

Information is also an important pillar of my care. I take the time to explain every aspect of the pathology to the patient, so that he or she can better understand the different stages of rehabilitation.
